Fancy a ski holiday in a magical and ultimate ski chalet in Val d’Isère ? The Toit du Monde chalet welcomes our guests and offers them the highest levels of excellence in terms of luxury services.
From the former 17th century monastery, the chalet Toit du Monde has kept some majestic elements, such as the original beam dating from 1632 over the main entrance or the one and a half meter high stone walls in the living room. It goes without saying that these pieces of history add even more magic to our guests’ stay.
Here and there, antique furniture from mountainous regions around the world, such as finely painted ancient Tibetan doors, mingle with blocks of marble carved with the motif of the Savoyard Royal family.
From hand-crafted furnitures like the dining table that seats up to 20 people under a crystal chandelier, or the designed chairs covered with sheep fur, to hand carved marble sinks and tubs from entire marble slabs flanked by marble and glass walls in each of the 4 suites, sophistication is everywhere at chalet Toit du Monde.
The noble materials add character and style and help to elevate the Toit du Monde chalet to the summum of luxury.
For the relaxation of our customers, everything has been thought out down to the smallest detail : the spa offers relaxation menus, accompanied by foot bath and herbal tea rituals, in a soft and cocooning atmosphere. Here, the Italian wall covering is made of a mixture of gold, metal and marble dust for a slightly luminescent decor. With a Russian pine sauna and a hammam in every bathroom, isn’t it the height of luxury ?
But this does not end here. A half-indoor, half-outdoor swimming pool, hidden under the solid marble floor, is revealed at the push of a button. Our guests can adjust both the depth and the color of the water whose temperature is 32 degrees. Ideal for enjoying a wonderful starry sky while sipping your favorite drink.
All this is, of course, accompanied by a 5* service with a staff available 24 hours a day to serve hot drinks or hot snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. After dinner, perhaps some of our guests will be tempt to sink into the cigar room’s soft seats and light up a cigar along with a Cognac !
